Chinese keeps both connectives where English drops one.

规则 因为 A，所以 B — KEEP BOTH: 因为下雨，所以我没去。
虽然 A，但是 B — both again: 虽然他很累，但是还在工作。
English drops one of the pair; Chinese keeps them.
Asking why: 为什么。 Answering: 因为…。
