Asking how much: 多大, 几岁, 多长

The rule 多 + adjective asks the degree: 多大, 多高, 多长, 多远。
A child's age is 几岁; an adult's is 多大。
A price is 多少钱 — never 几钱, never 多大钱。
How long something takes is 多长时间。
