How many times: 次 and 遍

规则 The count follows the verb: 我去过两次。 我看了三遍。
次 = an occasion. 遍 = one complete pass from start to finish (reading, listening, writing).
If the object is a THING, the count comes first: 我看了两次电影。
If it is a PERSON or a PLACE NAME, the count comes last: 我去过北京两次。
