The 把 construction
The object moves in front of the verb so the sentence can say what was done to it.
The rule
Subject + 把 + object + verb + SOMETHING ELSE: 我把书放在桌子上。
The object after 把 must be one the listener can identify — 把一本书 is almost never right.
The verb may not end the sentence bare; it needs 了/完/在…/给… after it. 我把书看 is broken.
没 and 别 go BEFORE 把: 我没把作业做完。 别把门关上。
