HSK 6 · 无从 · 难以

无从, 无法, 难以 — no way to

无从 is not knowing where to start; 无法 is having no way at all; 难以 is merely hard.

The rule 无从 + verb = with no way in, lacking a STARTING POINT: 事情太乱,无从下手。
无法 + verb = there is no way at all: 我无法接受这个结果。
难以 + verb = hard to — still possible, merely difficult: 这个结果难以想象。
All three take a TWO-SYLLABLE VERB, never an adjective.
无从 keeps company with 下手, 说起, 查考 — things that need somewhere to begin.
