In progress: 在, 正在, 呢, 着

規則 在 + verb = doing it right now: 他在看书。 正在 stresses the very moment: 我正在吃饭。
A 呢 can close the sentence: 他在看书呢。 On its own, 呢 is enough: 他睡觉呢。
着 is a different thing: it marks a lasting STATE — 门开着 (the door is open), 他坐着看书 (sitting, reading).
Negative: 没(有)在 + verb — 我没在看电视。
